Mount Amanzi is elated to have received the news with regards to the easing of restrictions in place for international travel.While South Africa has moved to level 1 of the 5-level, risk-adjusted strategy, certain regulations will remain in force, as per the government-issued regulations. A selection of countries have been evaluated and are deemed low risk with regards to traveling to South Africa; please view the latest Government Gazette for further information.

A day to cherish and be thankful for; while COVID-19 has impacted our lives and how we experience life on a daily basis, it no longer has to infringe on our favourite pastime of travelling. As such, VRS has launched HygienicHospitality, a division of Vacation Recreational Services, dedicated towards implementing and maintaining additional health and safety protocols, as they relate to flattening the curve of COVID-19. From Housekeeping to Maintenance and even Reception, every person on the Mount Amanzi Team has gone through all of the necessary training to ensure a safe holiday environment for all. Below are a few measures you may notice when next visiting Mount Amanzi Resort:

Keys are disinfected prior to check-in and on departure

Guests to complete a medical register on arrival and record temperatures

Chalets are serviced during the week; not over weekends

Chalets allocated to provide time for the housekeeping and maintenance teams

All chalets are sanitised after departure and prior to arrival

Doors are sealed after sanitisation

Pool loungers spaced to ensure social- distancing

PPE must be worn and the sanitisation of hands is to be conducted at regular intervals throughout guests’ stays
